PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a battery pack system capable of continuing the control of a battery module if a part of a transmission path is disconnected or a certain battery module becomes faulty, with secured data transmission between with another battery module by configuring a loop-shaped data transmission path between the battery modules. SOLUTION: In the battery pack system having one or more battery modules in series and parallel connection, each battery module includes a secondary battery 4, a voltage measurement circuit 5 for measuring the voltage of the secondary battery 4, and a communication I/F 8 for communication between the battery modules.
