A wearable device and a communication method using a wearable device are disclosed. The communication method using the wearable device according to an embodiment may include: sensing a motion and bio signals of a part on which the wearable device is worn and parts around the part on which the wearable device is worn and recognizing a gesture of a user; setting a wireless communication connection to at least one of an external device or an internal device based on a recognized gesture; and performing wireless communication with at least one of an external device or an internal device to which the wireless communication connection is set.
