<p>A processor-controlled machine computes a color calibration or performs an evaluation of the color of images of multi-view or stereoscopic images. A fictive transformation matrix is used for substituting variables of a first set of polynomials calculated from a 3D color histogram describing the 3D color histogram distribution of the pixels in a 3D color space of a reference image of the multi-view or stereoscopic image. A second set of polynomials is set equal to a number of histogram elements of the image at least to be calibrated for providing a transformation matrix for color calibration and also applicable for evaluating the quality of the color of images of multi-view or stereoscopic images.</p> |
