<p>Provided is a highly efficient method of manufacturing high purity pitch for a carbonaceous raw material, which includes a step of preparing a mixture by mixing a coal-tar-based raw material, a first solvent, and a second solvent; a step of separating a supernatant liquid part having no insoluble matter, and a sludge part having an insoluble matter from the mixture by using a centrifugal method or a decanting method; and a step of removing the first and second solvents from the supernatant liquid part having no insoluble matter through decompression distillation at a temperature of 280°C or lower, so as to obtain high purity pitch, wherein the first solvent has agglutinability for beta-resin and quinoline insolubles, and the second solvent has solubility for beta-resin and pitch.</p> |
