<p>The present invention relates to a system and a method for transmitting broadcast messages. When transmitting a broadcast message to at least one receiving terminal in response to a broadcast message transmission request received from a sending terminal, and if the receiving terminal is a smartphone equipped with an application, the system transmits the broadcast message through a data network. If the receiving terminal is a mobile phone unable to receive the broadcast message through the application or is a smartphone not equipped with the application, the system transmits the broadcast message through a plurality of telephone network connection parts comprising a first telephone network connection part and a second telephone connection part, wherein the first telephone network connection part is connected to a telephone network of a communications service provider, and the second telephone network connection part is a transmission line of an operator terminal transmitting the broadcast message. The present invention enables the operator terminal to transmit a broadcast message through a PSTN, a mobile communications network, or a data network depending on the type of a receiving terminal and the status of application installation, thereby saving the cost of broadcast message transmission and securing transmission stability of the broadcast message.</p> |
