PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system capable of estimating the propagation path of entire subcarriers without the interpolation processing of a frequency axis direction without lowering data transmission efficiency. SOLUTION: The radio communication system includes: a transmitter 10 for arranging pilot signals in one of the plurality of subcarriers within a transmission block, nullifying the prescribed number of subcarriers each on the low frequency side and high frequency side of the one subcarrier, multiplying a phase rotation sequence with the subcarrier where the pilot signals are arranged, and performing conversion to signals spread within a band; and a receiver 20 for multiplying a phase opposite rotation sequence, performing conversion from the spread signals to the subcarrier of each frequency, extracting the signals of a subcarrier position where the pilot signals are arranged from the converted signals of the subcarrier of each frequency and the signals of the prescribed number of delay waves from the signals of the subcarrier position as the response of the pilot signals, and estimating the propagation path with the transmitter.
