The liquefied gas-storing tank (2) is provided with: an inner tank (3) for storing the liquefied gas; an outer tank (4) for securing a vacuum space (20) between the outer tank and the inner tank (3); and an emergency thermal insulation layer (6) covering the outer surface of the outer tank (4). Because the emergency thermal insulation layer (6) is not disposed inside the vacuum space (20), said configuration is able to limit deterioration of the degree of vacuum in the vacuum space (20) with the passage of time.
