This motor selection device retrieves the following, which are stored in a storage means: the maximum output torque (T), the dynamic friction torque (Ti), the constant load torque (Tm), the acceleration interval (ta), the constant speed interval (tc), the deceleration interval (td), and the stopped interval (tb). The torque during the acceleration interval (ta) is calculated as Ta by adding the maximum output torque (T), the dynamic friction torque (Ti) and the constant load torque (Tm) together. The torque during the constant speed interval (tc) is calculated as Tc by adding the dynamic friction torque (Ti) and the constant load torque (Tm) together. The torque during the deceleration interval is calculated as Td by adding the maximum output torque (T), the dynamic friction torque (Ti) and the constant load torque (Tm) caused by the load together. The torque during the stopped interval is calculated as Tb and is the constant load torque (Tm). The effective torque (Te) is calculated by inputting the following into a prescribed formula: the obtained torques (Ta, Tc, Td and Tb) and the acceleration interval (ta), the constant speed interval (tc), the deceleration interval (td), and the stopped interval (tb). |
