<p>The present invention relates to a wired/wireless web-based chatting system and a method therefor, which enables a chatting service on a wired/wireless web without installing, in a chatting terminal, a separate application program for Internet chatting. The wired/wireless web-based chatting system according to the present invention comprises: two or more chatting terminals for accessing wired/wireless Internet through a web browser and executing a web-based chatting service; and a chatting server for providing the web-based chatting service between the chatting terminals accessing the wired/wireless Internet, wherein the chatting server transmits a predetermined server push message to each chatting terminal performing the web-based chatting, so as to checking whether the chatting terminal is in an on-line state or not.</p> |
