<p>The present invention relates to a map matching method for a user terminal and, more particularly, to a map matching method which matches the position of a user terminal measured by a positioning means on a map. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the map matching method comprises: a step of determining a space where the user terminal is positioned, using the positioning data measured at set time intervals; a step of selecting links positioned within a set distance from the space, as candidate links; a step of selecting one candidate link the most corresponding to at least one suitability standard among at least two suitability standards including distance suitability and space suitability among the selected candidate links; and a step of performing map matching the user terminal with the selected candidate link.</p> |
