The present invention provides an injection moulding machine, and an adjusting method for the injection moulding machine. The injection moulding machine can suppress deviation of a gap between an inner wall of an injection nozzle and a screw head when an injection screw is in a forward limiting position. The injection moulding machine having an injection screw position detector (32) used for detecting an axial position of an injection screw (20) which can rotate in an injection cylinder (10) and can move axially comprises: a contact detection part (50b) used for detecting contact between the inner wall (12a) of the injection nozzle (12) arranged at a front end of the injection cylinder (10) and the screw head (23); and a reference determining part (50c) used for determining a reference of the injection screw position detector (32) according to an output value of the injection screw position detector (32) when the contact detection part (50b) detects the contact. |
