The invention relates to a catalyst for olefin polymerization represented by the general formula (1): wherein; M is a transition metal; X1 and X2 are independently selected from the group consisting of halide, alkyl group, aryl group, alkyl amine group, or alkyl aryl group, and are directly bond to M, R1 and R2 are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl group or aryl group; and Cp is a cyclopentadienyl group.
