<p>The invention relates to a method for producing a laminate comprising a metal strip, sheet or blank on which a layer is present, wherein the layer is present over at least part of the surface of the strip, sheet or blank, and wherein the layer contains expandable microspheres embedded in a thermoplastic material, which expandable microspheres have an expansion temperature between 90 and 220° C, the method comprising the following steps: - providing a metal strip, sheet or blank - laminating the metal strip, sheet or blank with the layer containing the expandable material, wherein the laminating is performed by direct extrusion or foil coating. The invention also relates to the laminate made using the method, a method for forming a part using the laminate, and the part thus formed.</p> |
