<p>The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for measuring link quality in a wireless communications system. A method for measuring link quality in a receiver of a wireless communications system comprises the steps of: determining a modulation type for each of at least one receiving stream received through at least one antenna based on a modulation order and channel information for each of signals transmitted from a plurality of transmission antennas; searching a parameter corresponding to the determined modulation type from a prestored parameter table by modulation types; and calculating channel capacity for each of the receiving stream received through the antenna using the searched parameter.</p>
