<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflector capable of fixing easily to a light-emitting device, and further, provide a lighting device easy to manufacture. <P>SOLUTION: The reflector is used for a lighting device having a light-emitting device with a plurality of light sources arranged on a substrate with intervals and a light diffusion plate opposed to the light-emitting device, and is fixed to the light-emitting device and used for reflecting the light of the light sources toward the light diffusion plate. A plurality of housing recesses 10e which respectively house each light source and are opened to the front side so as to reflect the light of the light sources toward the light diffusion plate are installed separated from each other with a distance.
