PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical axis controller capable of achieving appropriate control of a headlamp irradiation angle for which a time delay is suppressed for a vehicle body pitch angle during traveling. SOLUTION: When a vehicle body receives the vertical acceleration of more than fixed magnitude, a vehicle pitching attenuation property at the time is recorded in a vehicle attenuation property database 3 corresponding to the vertical acceleration to be updated every time of receiving the vertical acceleration of more than fixed magnitude. Further, the vehicle pitching attenuation property when the vertical acceleration of the magnitude within a fixed range is input is recorded in the vehicle attenuation property database 3. In the meantime, when the vehicle receives the vertical acceleration of more than fixed magnitude, the vehicle pitching attenuation property recorded in the vehicle attenuation property database 3 corresponding to the vertical acceleration is read, the headlight irradiation angle control signal of an opposite phase is generated by a headlight irradiation angle control signal generation means 18 in a feed-forward manner, and the irradiation angle of the headlight is controlled without a time delay.
