<p>To provide a display technology whereby it is possible to easily and rapidly find a desired item in a small display unit, a display device comprises: a display unit; a storage unit which stores a plurality of rules including a first and second rule; a designation unit which designates one of the plurality of rules; and a control unit which transitions a display screen from one screen to another screen on the basis of the one rule which is designated by the designation unit. The first rule includes a rule whereby the display screen is transitioned from a first screen to a second screen in response to a signal which is inputted according to a first operation of a user, and a rule whereby the display screen is transitioned from the first screen to a third screen in response to a signal which is inputted according to a second operation of the user. The second rule includes a rule whereby the display screen is transitioned from the first screen to the second screen in response to a signal which is inputted according to a third operation of the user, and a rule whereby the display screen is transitioned from the second screen to the third screen in response to the signal inputted according to the third operation of the user.</p> |
