The present invention relates to a method for verifying a calculation result of an electricity market price which includes the steps of collecting system marginal prices (SMP) from a database and data regarding multiple determination factors which are bases for SMP calculation by a data collection unit; performing a statistical analysis of the collected data by a statistical analysis unit; and determining whether the SMP is abnormal based on the statistical analysis by an abnormal sensing unit.
