A current detection unit (24) is used to detect a consumed current value of a transmission amplifier (12) from a power supply that is provided from a power supply generation unit (21) of a radio communication device (2) to the transmission amplifier (12). Correspondences between consumed current values of the transmission amplifier (12) and output power values of the transmission amplifier (12) are stored in memory (25) of the radio communication device (2) in advance, and an output power value of the transmission amplifier (12) is ascertained, on the basis of the consumed current value detected by use of the current detection unit (24), with reference to those correspondences. Then, a set value changing unit (224) adjusts a transmission signal, which is to be generated by a transmission processing unit (221), such that the output power value is a predetermined power value. |
