<p>A spring band, particularly for sealing a hole in a pipe, has a seal 1, particularly of rubber, and eyelets 2 which may allow the band to be removed using circlip removal pliers. In use, the band may be pushed onto the pipe over the hole. The band may be comprised of metal or resilient plastic, and may be sized for soil pipes or copper water pipes. Preferably the diameter of the band is smaller than that of the pipe, and the pipe is gripped by elastic contraction of the band. In an embodiment, a pipe connector is provided for connecting a branch pipe, such as a waste water pipe, to a main pipe such as a soil pipe.</p> |
