<p>In order to provide a spot welding apparatus that affords shorter tack time of spot welding, even when a workpiece has numerous welding points, the present invention employs a configuration wherein the operator takes a workpiece in hand and sets the workpiece on a workpiece fastening jig (4) of a workpiece transport-in station (S1), during which time, welding sites on the workpiece (W) are welded in shared fashion at welding stations (S2)-(S4), and once the spot welding operation is complete, the workpiece (W) is discharged onto a conveyor (14) at a transport-out station (S5).</p> |
