<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage system for leveling power by utilizing a storage battery and preventing quality deterioration of power supplied from a power plant of a power company. <P>SOLUTION: The power storage system includes a generator means for generating power by utilizing natural energy (such as solar light or solar heat), a power storage means for storing a part (excessive power) of the power generated by the generator means if the amount of power generated by the generator means is larger than the amount of power consumed by a load, and supplying the stored power to the load if the amount of power generated by the generator means is smaller than the amount of power consumed by the load, a regenerative means for regenerating, to the generator means, the part (excessive power) of power generated by the generator means if the amount of power generated by the generator means is not less than a first predetermined value, and a converter for supplying DC power for charging the power storage means using the power from a power supply system if the amount of power generated by the generator means is not more than a second predetermined value lower than the first predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
