<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document pressing plate opening/closing device for preventing a document from getting dirty when the end of the document is brought into contact with a fixing pin to which grease has been applied. <P>SOLUTION: A document pressing plate opening/closing device is configured of: a mounting member 4 on a device body 2; a support member 5 connected via a first hinge pin 11 to the outside of both-side plates; a lift member 6 by which the both-side plates suspended from both sides of an upper plate mounted with a document pressing plate 3 are connected via a second hinge pin 12 to the free end side of the both-side plates of the support member so as to be rotated in a reverse direction; a fixing pin 13 arranged at the both-side plates; an operation pin 14 arranged on the both-side plates of the lift member; a second slider 32 configured to be butted to the fixing pin at one end side, and arranged so as to slide while being gripped by a grip piece 53 between the both-side plates of the support member; a first slider 31 configured to be butted to the operation pin at one end side, and arranged so as to slide while being gripped by the grip piece between the both-side plates of the support member; and a coil spring 21 arranged between the two sliders. An extension piece 38 for preventing the end of the document from being brought into contact with the fixing pin is arranged so as to be projected from the lower side of the second slider to the front side of the fixing pin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
