The invention relates to a pump device, comprising i. an impeller; ii. a pump housing that at least partially encompasses an inner region, having an inlet and an outlet, wherein the impeller is provided in the inner region of the pump housing; wherein the pump housing comprises at least a first partial region and at least one further partial region; wherein the first partial region comprises a ceramic, wherein the further partial region comprises a metal, wherein at least one part of the first partial region and at least one part of the further partial region are connected to each other. The invention further relates to a housing that comprises the features described for the pump housing. The invention also relates to a method for producing a pump housing comprising the steps: a. provision of a first material; b. provision of a further material; c. formation of a pump housing precursor, wherein a first partial region of the pump housing is formed from the first material and wherein a further partial region of the pump housing is formed from the further material; and d. treatment of the pump housing precursor at a temperature of at least 300 °C.
