PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode structure of a lithium ion secondary battery capable of improving the battery capacity, and a method for manufacturing the negative electrode structure of a lithium ion secondary battery.SOLUTION: The negative electrode structure of a lithium ion secondary battery comprises: a collector layer 12 composed of copper; an aluminum layer 13 provided on the collector layer 12; a promoter layer 15 provided on the aluminum layer 13 and composed of at least one of Ti, V, Cr, Zr, Nb, Mo, Hf, Ta, W, and nitrides of the metallic elements; a catalyst layer 16 provided on the promoter layer 15 and composed of iron; and carbon nanotubes 20 formed on the catalyst layer 16. |
