PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easier-to-process electromagnetic wave transmission medium with resistance to deformation due to bending. SOLUTION: The medium has a cylindrical tube 1 whose cross section in a direction orthogonal to a tube shaft has an identical shape in a tube axial direction. The cylindrical tube 1 is formed of a conductive layer having thickness of not less than a skin depth on its inner wall, and a cross sectional shape of the tube is a circular ridge waveguide shape, which has n-pairs of ridge parts 1b-1e orienting the tube shaft, and in which each pair of the ridge parts 1b-1e are symmetrical to a center, respectively.
