PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a stereoscopic image which enables an observer to recognize different images when viewed from a plurality of directions. SOLUTION: A method for creating a stereoscopic image by using a plurality of two-dimensional original images is a stereoscopic image creation method that calculates a value corresponding to a value obtained by multiplying together luminance of predetermined pixels of respective two-dimensional original images, as density of pixels of a stereoscopic image. In this case, it is preferable that the predetermined pixels in the respective two-dimensional original images are pixels positioned at intersections of the respective two-dimensional original images and perpendiculars extending from pixels of the stereoscopic image to the respective two-dimensional original images.
