<p>An infant garment 20 includes a body 22 for covering an infant and neck padding 50 located within the body 22 and extending, in use, from the base of the skull of an infant positioned on the body 22 to the top of the shoulder blades and from shoulder-to-shoulder. The neck padding 50 includes a greater degree of padding than the body 22. The body 22 may be kite shaped defining a body-supporting section 26, a bottom flap 28 which is configured to fold up over the feet of the infant, and opposing right and left flaps 30, 32 which fold over the torso and are secured with hook and loop fastening 42, 44. The body may also be in the form of a sleeved or sleeveless dress closed by a zip fastener, and which may or may not have right and left wings which wrap over the dress.</p> |
