<p>The invention aims to provides a cylindrical spacer which provides a placing surface for the first end of a spiral spring and has a structure that allows the amount of parts to be reduced without any gaskets. The cylindrical spacer is not liable to deform to allow the first end of the spiral spring to be stably installed on the cylindrical spacer. The cylindrical spacer (2) provided by the invention is used for a shock absorber to set the initial length of a suspension spiral spring (1) used for the shock absorber. A first end portion (4) of a cylindrical body of the cylindrical spacer (2) has a non-circular cross section and includes a first end surface (3) for installing a first end (11) of the suspension spiral spring (1).</p> |
