<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost cathodic protection effect monitoring device capable of easily checking, without using an external power source, a cathodic protection effect of underground installations cathodically protected by a galvanic anode system, and to provide a method for monitoring a cathodic protection effect. <P>SOLUTION: A monitoring means 11 operating while using a protection current by a galvanic anode system as a power source is provided at a location where an operating state of the monitoring means can be checked from the ground, and a cathodic protection effect is monitored by checking the operating state of the monitoring means 11 from the ground. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
