The present invention relates to implements for cleaning and hygiene purposes which are suitable for industrial and domestic tasks where contaminants have to be mechanically removed from a surface. The technical result which the claimed invention is intended to achieve is that of rendering specialized implements for mechanically removing contaminants from surfaces accessible and more efficient to use. The above-mentioned technical result is achieved in that, in the disposable implement for mechanically removing contaminants, said implement comprising at least two functional parts: a handle and a scraper, each of the functional parts is made from a material which is dissolvable in the environment of the contaminant being removed, over the course of a period of time commensurate with the period of time of possible use of the disposable implement.
