PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outlet capable of achieving further high safety and energy saving by detecting failure in an electrical apparatus connected with the outlet or failure in a connection state of a plug and the outlet.SOLUTION: The outlet 2 includes: a relay 21 for opening and closing a power feeding path; a measurement section 22 for measuring a waveform of an electric current running through the power feeding path; a control section 23 that compares a measured waveform measured by the measurement section 22 with a current waveform stored in a database 24 and when the both waveforms are not met each other, turns off the relay 21; and a database 24 that stores a current waveform of an electrical apparatus 4 connected through a plug 3. With this configuration, the outlet 2 can achieve high safety because the relay 21 is turned off to be not energized under a failure state. |
