<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing co-channel interference in a cellular radio network. <P>SOLUTION: Spectrum acquisition means that cells whose service areas are overlapped utilize one or more frames of super frames on the same frequency channel based on a self-coexistence mechanism in spectrum sharing. The invention enables a station of a cell sharing a super frame with an adjacent cell to avoid receiving interference from the adjacent cell and utilize a frame allocated to the adjacent cell unless interfering with the adjacent cell. The invention is an invention of procedures including interference detection, frame acquisition request, interference testing, and result feedback.
