PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the coverage of a command code which is suitable for a device that is controlled and the operation contents in a remote control transmitter including multiple transmission parts. SOLUTION: A remote control transmitter 100 includes a first transmission part 14 facing the horizontal direction and a second transmission part 15 slightly facing downward. When a command code is transmitted for controlling a digital television 110, a transmission control part 10b allows only the first transmission part 14 to transmit the command code. When a command code is transmitted for controlling a digital recorder 120, the transmission control part 10b allows the first transmission part 14 and the second transmission part 15 to transmit the command code.
