PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which there is no DC/DC converter used for generating a gradation voltage. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate to which a source voltage according to a gradation value of a video signal is supplied, a second substrate disposed so as to face the first substrate, a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, and a gradation voltage generating circuit generating a gradation voltage which becomes a source of the source voltage supplied to the first substrate. The gradation voltage generating circuit includes an operational amplifier in which an output terminal is connected to an inverted input terminal to constitute a feedback loop and which amplifies in a non-inverting manner an input signal supplied to a non-inverted input terminal, a resistance connected in series between the output terminal and the inverted input terminal of the operational amplifier, and a capacitor connected to the resistance in parallel.
