345,953. Feeding cards. BRITISH TABULATING MACHINE CO., Ltd., General Buildings, Aldwych, London.- (Assignees of Ford, E. A. ; 21, Overhill Road, Scarsdale, New York, U.S.A.) Dec. 30, 1929, No. 39788. Convention date, Dec. 31, 1928. [Class 117.] In a statistical machine the perforated record cards are fed from a stack 2 by a picker 1, notches of which receive two plates 4 pivoted at 5 and oscillated against springs 8 by a cam 9 rotating once for each machine cycle. As the picker reciprocates backwards to the right a slot in it rocks a pawl 10 clockwise so that a heel on it engages the lower cards of the stack and aligns them.
