[Class 107.] Boxes D are disposed at each end of a roadsurface marking of the type comprising translucent blocks supported in the upper parts of ventilated troughs A containing electric lamps C, and are provided. with drainage outlets D<1> and air vents E, E<1>. These vents are carried bv the covers D<2> of the boxes D, above which they may project slightly to minimise the entry of water, and the ends of the inlet vents E are arranged at a lower level than those of the outlet vents E<1> in order to set up a convection current. A series of the troughs may be fitted end to end to form a line terminating in the boxes D, or if desired one box D may be common to two lines of troughs A, A2.</p> |
