Provided are an imaging lens constituted by four lenses capable of securing optical performance at low cost while achieving a wider angle and a reduction in height compared to the conventional imaging lens, and an imaging device using the imaging lens. An imaging lens (LN) is constituted by a first lens having a negative refractive power, a second lens having a negative refractive power, a third lens, and a fourth lens in order from an object, with the surface of the first lens on the object side having a non-spherical shape, and satisfies the following expressions: −2.8 < f2 / f < −0.5 (1) 0.0 < (r1 + r2) / (r1 − r2) < 2.3 (2) where f2 represents the focal length (mm) of the second lens, f represents the focal length (mm) of the entire system, r1 represents the radius of curvature (mm) of the surface of the first lens on the object side, and r2 represents the radius of curvature (mm) of the surface of the first lens on the image side. |
