Anti-theft device by means of which an article (1) which is to be secured, in particular a handbag, is connected temporarily to a fixed-position object (2), e.g. an arm of a chair, the device having a flexible securing element (3), which can have its first end fastened on the article (1) which is to be secured and can have its second end connected in a releasable manner to the fixed-position object (2), wherein the flexible securing element (3), in the region of its second end, has at least two closure-element pairs (10, 10', 11, 11') which can be brought into releasable engagement with one another in each case and, in the engaged state, retain two portions of the flexible securing element (3) in a parallel position, wherein the flexible securing element (3) forms a loop (4) between the two portions, and the flexible securing element (3) can be guided through said loop in order for the second end of the flexible securing element (3) to be secured to the fixed-position object. |
