In a pump having suction and exhaust valves formed of read valves, provided is a technique, wherein a compression ratio can be improved by reducing the dead space in a pump chamber and the reduction of the number of required parts and the simplification of assembling process can be achieved. A concave suction valve pressing part (52) is provided to the exhaust side surface (50a) of the main body part (50) of a plate (5) provided to the upper portion of a pump chamber (2), wherein the suction valve pressing part (52) is inclined towards a suction hole (51) such that the thickness of the suction valve pressing part (52) becomes thin and the suction valve pressing part (52) is formed to be connected to the suction hole (51). A suction and exhaust valve member (6) is provided to the plate (5) and has a plane plate-shaped main body part (60) positioned and arranged in contact with an exhaust side, wherein a suction valve (62) integrally formed in the main body part (60) of the suction and exhaust valve member (6) is formed to overlap the suction hole (51) and the suction valve pressing part (52) of the plate (5). |
