摘要 Disclosed are compositions, glass filled compositions, articles made therefrom, and processes for making articles therefrom. In an embodiment, a composition can comprise: one or more polycarbonates wherein at least one of the polycarbonates is a polyester-polycarbonate having at least one unit derived from sebacic acid and has a biocontent of at least 5 weight % based upon a total weight of the polyester-polycarbonate, determined according ASTM-D6866; a glass content of 10 weight % or greater based upon a total weight of the composition; and an epoxy resin. The composition has a melt volume rate of greater than 10.5 cm3/10 minutes at 300° C./1.2 kg according to ASTM-D1238-10. A part molded having a 0.8 mm thickness molded from the composition has a gloss value of 89 or higher at 60°, according to ASTM-D523.

A composition comprising: A polymer component comprising one or more polycarbonates wherein at least one of the polycarbonates is a polyester-polycarbonate having at least one unit derived from sebacic acid and a biocontent of at least 5 weight % based upon a total weight of the polyester-polycarbonate, determined according ASTM-D6866; a glass present in an amount of 10 to 50 weight % based upon a total weight of the composition; and an epoxy resin present in an amount of 0.01 to 10 weight % based on total weight of the polymer component; wherein at least one polyester-polycarbonate has: (a) a weight average molecular weight of 30,000 to 45,000 Daltons as measured by gel permeation chromatography using BPA polycarbonate standards, and a sebacic acid content of 7.0 mole % to 12.0 mole %; or (b) a weight average molecular weight of 15,000 to 28,000 Daltons as measured by gel permeation chromatography using BPA polycarbonate standards, and a sebacic acid content of 3.0 mole % to 7.0 mole %; wherein the composition has a melt volume rate of greater than 10.5 cm3/10 minutes at 300° C./1.2 kg according to ASTM-D1238-10, and wherein a part molded having a 0.8 mm thickness molded from the composition has a gloss value of 89 or higher at 60°, according to ASTM-D523.
