Disclosed are a method and apparatus for reconfiguring a PCI Express switch interface for a device and the structure of an extendable multi-device bay. Provided is an extendable multi-device bay capable of extending a control board and a device, which is capable of mounting various types of devices as well as mounting more devices by providing connectors by device types on both sides of the control board of the extendable multi-device bay. A mounting device for this may mount various kinds of devices. In addition, the present invention provides various types of extension devices. In particular, provided is an extension device, which is capable of maintaining performance more than a predetermined level without deterioration of performance induced by extension even when a plurality of extendable multi-device bays are extended based on the extendable multi-device bay. |
