a plurality of banks; a plurality of address buffers configured to receive addresses; and a buffer control unit configured to deactivate one or more of the plurality of address buffers if a number of activated banks among the plurality of banks is a prescribed number, wherein, a number of the address buffers deactivated by the buffer control unit is obtained by subtracting a number of column addresses from a number of row addresses, the column addresses and the row addresses being used in the memory device.
