The present invention relates to a raw material treating method. The method comprises a process of charging a by-product treating container with the raw material; a process of injecting a molten by-product, which is generated during a refining process of a molten object, into the by-product treating container; a process of mixing the raw material in the by-product treating container and the by-product to form a mixture, preheating the raw material, and cooling the by-product; a process of crushing the mixture injected into a crusher; a process of separating the raw material from the mixture; a process of charging a refining container with the separated raw material; and a process of charging the refining container with the molten object to be refined. The method is capable of efficiently performing a high temperature process by using the sensible heat of the by-product such as refining slag to preheat the raw material such as scrap iron or the like. |
