Disclosed is a recess type insulation structure of a manifold deck, which is capable of preventing a hull from being damaged due to a liquefied gas leak from the upper part of the manifold deck of a liquefied gas carrier. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the recess type insulation structure of the manifold deck is recessed from the manifold deck and comprises a container accommodating liquefied gas leaked from a manifold, wherein the container is made of an insulating material to prevent damage to a hull due to the accommodated liquefied gas.
