According to embodiments of the present invention, an electronic device comprises a reception module to receive a signal from a circuit switching (CS) network or from a packet switching (PS) network, a first reception module and a second reception module to receive the signal from the CS network or the PS network, and a communication control module to control the reception module and the first and second reception modules, wherein at least one of the first reception module and the second reception module can at least temporarily receive the signal received from the CS network in preference to the signal received from the PS network if the signal from the PS network is received by the at least one of the first reception module and the second reception module.
