FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: this invention relates to handling of metal articles for cold forming by application of lubricant coat on said metal surface. Note here that lubricant coat is formed at contact between said surface with aqueous composition of lubricants including at least one aqueous, water-containing and water-repellant oxide and/or silicate that represents at least one liquid glass, silica gel, silicic acid hydrosol, ethyl silicate and/or at least one product of their precipitation, hydrolysis product and/or condensation product. Besides, it includes polymer organic material containing at least one ionomer and at least one non-ionomer compound Note also that ionomers consist, mainly, of ionomer copolymers and represent the composed of compounds based on acrylic acid/metacrylic acid, ethylene, propylene, styrene their ethers and/or salts, or mixed thereof. Note also that ionomer features molecular weight of 2000-15000.
