A purpose of the present invention is to provide an ice maker having a simple structure while including a purified water tank, a cold water tank, and an ice making unit, and capable of reducing the time required to make ice, reducing the number of components due to being able to cool water in the cold water tank without a separate cooling means; and providing ices of uniform size, an ice-making method, and a water treating apparatus having the ice maker. To achieve this, the ice maker includes: a purified water tank storing water at room temperature; a cold water tank receiving water from the purified water tank to store the water in a cooled state; an ice making unit distributing the water in the cold water tank in an ice-making frame through a nozzle in a nozzle unit in order to make ice; and an ice storage unit storing the ice formed in the ice making unit.
