The device e.g. rotary harrow (2), has a soil tool unit (6) for cultivating soil, and a trailer axle unit (9) arranged in a specific direction below the soil tool unit for post processing the soil. The axle unit is movably formed by a working depth adjustment device relative to the soil tool unit. A leveling plate (8) is displaceably guided by a guiding device in an upright direction relative to the soil tool unit. An actuating device adjusts the leveling plate based on set working depth of the soil tool unit and height position of the axle unit relative to the soil tool unit.
