<p>The present invention relates to an air conditioner and a controlling method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the air conditioner whose an operated refrigerant cycle includes a compressor, a condenser, an expansion device, and an evaporator comprises: an electronic unit including control components to operate the refrigerant cycle; a heat dissipation assembly for dissipating heat generated by the electronic unit using a heat sink installed to be connected to one side of the electronic unit; multiple branch pipes which are connected to the heat sink, and supply a refrigerant to the heat sink by dividing a refrigerant discharged from the evaporator; a bypass pipe which is extended from one side of one branch pipe among the branch pipes to the other side, and bypasses a refrigerant to be supplied to the heat sink; and a flow control device which is provided to the bypass pipe, and controls a flow rate of a refrigerant.</p> |
